Inside Information - attend Conference Calls
They have been out there for a long time, but almost no one of our customers or any other investor we have asked ever attends a conference call. But if you call yourself a serious investor or trader you should attend one and see for yourself whether you gain valuable information about a company. Therefore today we have an interesting conference call for you to attend. On October, 15 2009 Harley Davidson held their conference call and there are a couple of things worth mentioning. First of all they lost money throughout the last year but who doesn´t these days. On the other hand management made some interesting decisions because of these losses. They intend to discontinue the Buell product line and they want to sell MV Agusta, both losing tons of money for Harley Davidson.
Such a decision is to be seen very positively since it helps focus on the main productline.
Even though the company did lose money over the preceding months, the stock price went up, actually it tripled.
We will see what happens next but this should be a company worth taking a look at throughout the next year.
